If I was in Africa and had no money or way home to the states, what could I do?
If I was stuck in Africa and had no money, or a way home, what could I do to get back to the states? The US won't help me and I can't get a loan, is there another way? I'm not asking for someone to raise the money for me and this is not a scam. I live in Louisville, Kentucky on phillips lane. I just need to know if there is another way home. Will the Lagos gov. help me?
Not a chance. They've got enough financial obstacles to go giving money to Americans for their flight home. Your best bet would be to have a family member or friend sent you money through Western Union and get yourself home that way. If you were in danger, the American Embassy would most likely help you return home safely. But if you just are there as a tourist and run out of money, the only way to get home would be through the help of someone back in the States.
