What kind of audio system should I install in my 07 Sonata?
I am unhappy w/ my stock system; Not enough Bass, Mids, Or Highs w/ any music I play. I have 6.5 speakers in front w/ 1" tweeters, and 6.5 speakers in rear door(?!). What aftermarket system would give me the best spectrum of sound? The speakers in my 02 Elantra kicked butt compared to these!
Sony just might be in the list for top 5 worst brands for car audio. People who tell you Sony is good are liars.
If you are on a semi light budget consider these brands for speakers and or subwoofers: Alpine, Infinity, Rockford Fosgate, Kicker, Polk, Pioneer, Kenwood, MTX, etc.
If you really want good sound: Focal, Diamond Audio, Morel, JL Audio, RE Audio, Image Dynamics, Boston Acoustics, etc.
There are a lot of brands I did not mention here, so go online and look around and read reviews. Remember that most car audio companies manufacture budget speakers but also manufacture high end speakers that can cost hundreds if not thousands. CarReview.com has many reviews on speakers and other things. This is probably the best site for online shopping in terms of a wide selection: Woofersetc.com
