Can I use home theater system speakers instead of TV speakers with my ipod??
I purchased an AV cable connection for my Ipod classic to connect to TV.It works great but the only problem is that i dont know how to use the home theater system speaker to work.When i see the tv i use the home theater speakers instead of the tv speakers but when i change the selected input to video 1 which is for the ipod no sound, i only get sound from tv speakers but i want the sound from home theater speakers.Can someone help me out???
You should be able to hook the red/white cable into Video1 of your AV receiver, select Video1 on your AV receiver, and it should play over your HT speakers.
If you are trying to go through the TV to your AV receiver it probably won't happen unless your TV has an output and you have it plugged into one of the inputs on your TV.
