What receiver would you buy for this setup?
I am about to get the klipsch QUINTET III, and the klipsch sub-12 synergy for my surround sound. I have no idea what receiver to buy, I waited in a pos best buy for 45 minutes for this guy that supposedly knew everything about everything was just to busy to sell me the whole set up so I walked out. I am just looking for some unbiased opionions, I have a kenwood receiver from about 10 years ago, is that to old of technology to run this setup? Also which receiver would you buy for this setup, I don't want to spend a ton on the it.
In my opinion the best value receivers are made by Onkyo. I have the TX-SR606, which has HDMI connections and can decode all HD audio formats, and I've been very happy with it. It'll cost you between $350 and $400.
