I just bought a new 2008 Toyota Matrix for $17500. Was this a good price??
It is the xr model and is an automatic transmission. It has FWD and has a 1.8L I4 engine. The MSRP sticker price at the dealership was $19,530. It has a moon roof, custom wheels, fog lights, power windows, six speakers, and the standard stuff that come with a Toyota (airbags, carpet floor mats, etc). Was this a good deal?!

I would say that $2000 off sticker price for this vehicle is a good deal.
Actually, there is a currently a $1500 factory-to-customer rebate on the 2008 Matrix. So, it appears the dealer kicked in an addtional $500 to make it a very good deal.
Of course, the reason for the rebate is that the all-new second-generation 2009 Matrix vehicles are now starting to show up in dealer showrooms. But you won't get any special deals on them for a while.
