would like info on 1981 schmidt cassegrain f-10 (Meade), excellent cond tripod and weight included?
any ideas on worth would be appreciated
It's hard to say without seeing it and without knowing the aperture. I'm assuming it's an LX10, maybe an 8" (203mm)?
If so, it's in really good condition and includes most of the original accessories, I'd say about US$600-800. If you have the wedge and everything is really pristine, maybe as much as $900.

If it's an LX50, much of the above still holds true... and the above prices may be easier to get for reasons Geoff mentioned (the LX10 is older, harder to maintain, etc).
