a buddy of mine gave me an 18" speaker with the foam edges deteriated, anyone know how to diy reconing?
The speaker came from an entertainment center inside the wall of a house.Its in a really heavy duty box. I put some casters on the bottom. It didnt have an out put jack on the box, The speaker has a direct line out of it that has been cut. I want to add an output plug and use it with a bass guitar rig. Anyone know if I should fool with refurbing that speaker or should I get a new one?
It just depends on if it's capable of using it as a bass guitar application, the brand , power handling , etc. As far as reconing it, if it's worth it , you should seek aan experienced person for that.
